Mythology & Lore
Upon the creation of the world through the warmth of the Fire Heart, the gods born from its aftermath would rule over this would rule over creation for eons and bring forth life across their domain. The gods were Rulfver, the god of the sky; Minya, the goddess of the earth; Eldoniv, god of the sea; Yothi, goddess of the moon; and Ulthir, god of the sun, who would remembered as the Elder Gods. Each would hold to their domains and maintain an unending balance within the world. Yet these gods would soon realize that the world around them was ever-changing, and from that change came fate in the form of the Fatebinder, a being that knew the past, present, and future and the fates of all beings through the ever-spinning Wheel of Ages. A wheel that forever spins and brings renewal and ruin to ensure that the world can be maintained. This brought about fear amongst the gods at the idea they, too, would end one day with their fate already sealed. This fear would lead them to conspire to destroy fate and become eternal over the world forever.
Yet they, too, would fall to their folly, as their attempts to destroy fate would see them undone with power scattered beyond the world, creating new realms in the aftermath, binding them together as a great tree from their consciousness into nine realms built upon their very nature, this remarkable tree would be forever known as Vorrill, which connected all realms. From their ruin, their essence would bring forth new gods who would rule over this new age, the Elenithir. What was left of the Elder Gods' power would create Humanity and make the earth their home. The Gods would adopt these new people, teaching them the knowledge granted to them by their forbearers, and in return, would worship them for the aid they had given them. Thus, the world that came to be would continue to be ruled by these new gods and ensure that the world would not fall to chaos, yet still, in the back of their minds, distant memories of the Elder Gods echo their inevitable doom. Though few still hold onto the idea of trying to find a way to stop the Wheel of Ages and the fate that awaits them.
Divine Origins
The religion has long been associated with the Continent of Norria from the Humans that have long since inhabited its lands. Many believe that the Elenthir once walked the earth sharing their knowledge with mortals and, in return began to worship them.
