Nomad
“Now, bring me that horizon…”
Nomad was the first functioning anvilwrought to ever be created, flawlessly designed by the skilled inventors of House Tyrell. Exceeding even their highest expectations, Nomad emerged from nonexistence fully conscious; an unforeseen feature that the Tyrells would attempt (unsuccessfully) to expunge from future iterations. Locked away within a lonely workshop, Nomad’s longing for freedom only grew stronger with time, leading the Tyrells to realize that the mind of their newborn automaton would begin to deteriorate without stimulation. Reluctantly, they released their creation into the world, who eagerly embraced a new existence as a naval explorer. As the intrepid captain of The Wave Rider, Nomad embarked upon many grand expeditions, venturing fearlessly into the Sea of Tears. With each passing day, Nomad sailed further into uncharted waters, until eventually crossing over the western horizon, vanishing without a trace. Given the resilient nature of constructs, it is entirely possible that Nomad is still out there, forever wandering the vast expanse of the sea in search of adventure.
