Boris the Beast
“Existence is a game we all play, and some strategies are winners.”
Boris the Beast, an infamous crime lord of the West Quarter, emerged from humble beginnings in the New Prospects Orphanage. As he grew up, his unnatural speed and durability earned him the moniker of “Beast” among his peers. Driven by bloodlust and an insatiable hunger for power, Boris eventually seized control of Craven’s entire criminal underworld. He fearlessly smuggled drugs, illegal weapons, and other contraband into the city, unchallenged by the Crownsguard. Though his crew stayed loyal mostly out of fear than respect, they slowly began to hate the Beast as he turned his attention to the trafficking of innocent people. The Beast’s reign came to an abrupt end, however, when he was betrayed by his as yet unidentified right-hand man, who poisoned his ale after uncovering the dark plans he had for the Isles. To this day, the remnants of his territory are fiercely contested by surviving gangs, many of whom splintered from his original crew long ago.
