The Màni, the Hordes of Shadow
The Màni are the people of the Glooming Mere, and the descendants of the first Dynast of the Dark. They worship the moon and are imperialistic in nature. They follow Vanar, God of the Moon, and worship their immortal Prince of the Dark as the chosen of Vanar. They believed in the divinity of the Dark, persecuting any who opposed this view. The Màni had built the citadel of Mondgrad, on the banks of the Glooming Mere, to defend themselves against the roaming beasts and monsters that came to drink in its waters. Their banner was made of a single black Moon, on a field of silvery white. Led by the Prince, the Legions of the Harbinger would guide the lives of the Màni people through tests of strength, challenges of brutality, and shows of prowess, preaching the importance of might, reverence to the Moon, to the dead, and oaths made.
They are namely powerful Dark magicians, and make use of blood magic to accomplish rituals of horrific proportions.
