Slumber of the first rulers:
This festival takes place once a year during the winter season, for four days. It was said that the creators (a.k.a. the first rulers) once had a massive orgy and were so exhausted they slept for four days. Their dreams bathed the four courts with Euphoric magic. It put a stop to bikerings and wars, politics and indifference. So now every year, Winter holds a celebration for all the four courts to indulge in, and any wars are put on hold. No one is to work, and everything is paid for by Winter’s treasury. The cities are decorated with lights, the air is showered with music, and gifts abound. Drinking, drugs, sex, orgies (especially on the first day), and prostitutes are commonplace. A feast each day like no other. Entertainers, parades and laughter fill the streets. No one sleeps at night, only during the day. So usually the drunks go from door to door, banging their fists, shouting, hitting pots and pans, or even blowing horns to make sure not a soul is asleep.
The Great Ice Festival:
Once a year for a week, just outside of Shimmer city, an ice town is built. Massive and intricate, stairs and slides, with places for people to set up shop and to sleep. Lights placed everywhere. Fountains of the best hot chocolate and a variety of soups are found all over the small ice town. Fire pits of never ending flames can too be found everywhere. You can pick up breads, stews, cookies, everything you need for s’mores, and much much more. And of course, an ice sculpting contest of the likes you’ve never seen before.
