Vigil's Service

The party is being taken by the Legion to The Vigil to serve their pentenance.

Plot points/Scenes

Scene 1: Fade into the four members in the back of a prison cart. Outside the bars are members of the Legion. After describing their grey armor, they will be introduced to the other prisoners. A human named Garret, young and unsure; a Dragonborn named Gruth, stern and talks in grunts; and Caleb the Kobold, weasely and proud.   Scene 2: The commander will tell the caravan to stop for the night, and the prisoners will be let out. The commander will explain what will happen if they escape. After the night begins, Jett will be woken up by the sounds of fighting. The shorataan will arrive to kill the party.   Scene 3: Combat to show off the legion's skill. The party will be allowed out of their chains to help.   Scene 4: The commander will recognize the shorataan and give some details on them. He will ensure the party will be safe at The Vigil. They continue on their way in the morning. The party will eventually come to sulcher's pass after 4 days of travel on the stone road. It will be well gaurded by Lionsgate guard and be used as a stopping point to resupply. There the party will overhear talk about how a large part of the Golden Army have deserted, and that corruption is suspected in Kings Cradle. That Zavia is in control of the government there.   Scene 5: after resting, the caravan will set off into Rudinia, where snow begins to fall and slowly cover the ground. The group will be given coats. After a day of travel, they will pass through a skeleton of a titan for worldbuilding stuff. After another two days of non eventful travel, the caravan will be suddenly surrounded by a wandering group of durashai from the great plains. They will ask them their buissness, ad upon realizing they are from the legion of the dead, let the group carry on north.   Scene 6: After 3 more days of travel, they will approach the last stop before the keep. The village of sanctuary is known as the furthest village north that welcomes travelers. The caravan will stop to resupply here, and the party will be allowed to travel around. Themes

Should feel almost grim as the party travels across Lionsgate and Rudinia. Lots of worldbuilding about how most of the land is destroyed.
