Grand Republic of Bleekwatch

After 10,000 years of life with their mountain cousins ever since the destruction of their port cities during the Illithid Wars, the Sea Dwarves have returned to their home by the ocean. Based in the city of Bleekwatch, the Council of the Sea oversee trade, logistics and diplomacy within the city and throughout its various colonies.

Structure

The rulers of the Republic is a group of eleven wealthy merchants known as the Council of the Sea. These eleven merchants oversee trade, logistics and diplomacy within the city and throughout its various colonies. The leader is the council is elected from among the council itself. Every 10 years each of the wealthy merchants that are based in the city of Bleekwatch or the rest of the Republic's colonies vote on the who they wish to see on the council, making it a partial democracy. The current council members include:
