Church of the Dawnlords

It is believed by those that follow the Ynngirar that since the dawn of man, Lathander has been revered as the prime deity. Said to have created the first human, he is the lord of creation and dawn, a being with great power and the first of the Primordials to Ascend. Over time more and more deities were added to his pantheon by the men of the north, gods like Torm, Helm, Mystral (later known as Mystra), Selune, and Mask. The worship of this pantheon slowly grew until it encompassed the entirety Kingdom of Westmarch (the second largest of the kingdom of men during the Illithid Wars). When the Illithid wars finally ended and Gadric Stormsword led his people to settle in the Fields of Oberon, the new Church of the Dawnlords was established, becoming the state religion of the Kingdom of Stromwatch, and later - when Gadric ascended to become a god - the Godrikian Empire. It was once the most dominant religion in the north, however, true followers are few and far between. Instead the Dawnlords have been slowly incorporated into the beliefs of the followers of the Raven Queen with them being seen as her servants, though gods in their own right.
