Thrain “Grizzleaxe” Ironmaw
Thrain “Grizzleaxe” Ironmaw was born deep in the forge-cities of the Ironspine Mountains, the fourth son in a long line of blacksmiths and tunnel fighters. While his brothers followed the family trade shaping blades and shields, Thrain took to the frontlines—guarding mining caravans and clearing out goblin infestations in the under-tunnels.
Over the years, Thrain earned a reputation as a brawler who never backed down. He’s got a crooked nose from a cave troll’s fist and a chunk missing from his left ear thanks to a bar fight in Stonehelm. Despite his gruff exterior and love for strong ale, he’s fiercely loyal and carries a deep respect for honor and kinship.
Now semi-retired from mercenary work, Thrain works as a pit-fighter, bounty hunter, and sometimes even tavern security. He carries the weight of battle years behind him but never leaves home without his trusty greataxe, "Bitterkiss."
