Area of focus for WorldEmber 2025:
- Publish 4-5 more location articles in atlas
- Complete overview of the world's history
- Add the first RPG content (e.g. monster stat sheet)
Writing goal for WorldEmber 2025:
- 10,000 words feels achievable. If I write more, that's a bonus!
PREP BINGO
Loved having a lot of choices on which column to target, so I could find something that suited my process. (I also borrowed the bingo card style for December monthly goals in my bullet journal!)
- Tidy up your writing space: I think I'll be working on this eternally, and it's all going to change when I replace my ancient desktop computer, but it definitely looks better than it did when I started!
- Define your scope for WorldEmber: Define the scope of anything = ADHD LOLs. But I'm happy I attempted this! I ended up with a clear goal, a decent estimated timeline, some journaling about where I want to focus, and a to-do list.
- Review your world primer article: Done and dusted .
- Find an accountability buddy: Check!
- Get some feedback: I submitted some of my first complete articles to my writing group. They're reading and will critique them live via Zoom next week!
I'm going to try to cross off one more column before December 1, because why not?
