Lillith Pagan

Description

Lillith Pagan is a slender young-looking female vampire. She is one of Lysander's vampire generals, and rules over the province of Rekx. Her peers describe her as clever, smart, and a natural tactician. Her subjects describe her as cruel, ruthless, and cunning. All these traits make for one dangerous vampire general. In addition to her smarts, she also possesses incredible powers as a vampire. She is a 3rd generation vampire and has a natural affinity for magic. Among the vampire generals, she is tied in combat power with her brother. The only two vampires that are considered more powerful are Urd Luc and Lysander himself. Currently she is looking to increase her power within Akasha, and continue the expansion of the Black Empire.

Personality

Despite the fact that her subjects think of her as cruel, she is not particularly sadistic like some vampires. She will stop at nothing to achieve her goals, and if that requires a few sacrifices along the way, so be it. During the war and the rise of the black empire, she once purposely left her brother's military unit unguarded, provoking an attack from the nearby militia. Her brother was furious that she would risk her own brother's life in such a careless manner. She claimed that she had absolute faith in her brother and his men and that she had no doubt they would be able to fend off the militia. Seth refused to believe that a brilliant tactician like her would make a foolish assumption like that and concluded that she probably either wanted to weaken his army or have him killed so that there would be more land and power for her after the conquering had ceased. This conflict showcases both how cunning she can be, as well as how much she is willing to sacrifice to achieve her ends. She has always been very proficient at games of intellectual skill. She has been known to invite guests to play chess with her, and it usually ends with the being brutally crushed.

History

Not much is known about her life before she became a vampire. She prefers male servants instead of maids, which leads some to believe that she was a maid before she became a vampire. Around the year 100CE, she became a renowned vampire in the East Ceria region along with her brother. The vampire sibling duo was quickly taking power from the various local vampire rulers, and rapidly improving their combat abilities. In the year 307CE, a large military unit from the Edo Empire was ordered to stabilize the vampire situation in East Ceria and bring their riches home to Edo. In 310CE the Edo military unit had made their rounds around East Ceria, and had sieged the castle Lillith and Seth resided in at the time. The castle was razed to the ground, and all of their valuable belongings had been ceased by the Edo military. The entire conflict was a crushing defeat for the siblings, and they had to lay low for quite some time. Lillith was still eager to regain her possession, she wanted revenge on the Edo Empire, and she wanted her influence back. Seth on the other hand urged her not to provoke the Edo Empire or any of the other new nations that had emerged. They spent the next 200 years studying and training, hoping they would one day become powerful enough to create a nation of their own. Vampire rulers that rose to power during this time were swiftly dealt with by specialized units from Ordo and Pragya. Eventually, in the year 550CE, they were approached by Lysander. The siblings had heard the legends of him before and might even have a few hazy memories from their human lives of him. Lysander recognized their powers and invited the siblings to join him in building an empire that would rule the world. They both accepted, thinking that with a leader like Lysander, they would become a dynasty that could rule forever. After Akasha was established in 600CE, Lillith eagerly began making plans to conquer East Ceria. But more than anything she had her sights on Miyagi, lusting for vengeance against the successors of the Edo Shogunate. But every time she presented her plans to Lysander, he would dismiss them and tell her to wait. Years of inactivity eventually became decades, which eventually became centuries. She eventually gave up trying to convince Lysander to attack the nearby nations. But she did not give up on her dreams of one day ruling them.

Relationships

Seth Pagan is Lilliths brother. It is unknown which one of them is the oldest, both seem to claim to be the older one. They used to have a very good relationship before the black empire. But ever since Lillith left Seth's unit defenseless against the local militia, they have had an antagonistic relationship. Gone are the days of fighting side by side, now they only see each other when attending general meetings. Lysander Dracul used to be an inspiration to Lillith. His power and presence used to send a chill down her spine, but these days she dislikes the person he has become. His vision is no longer grand, and to Lillith, it seems like all he does is laze and wait until he dies from boredom. Urd Luc is the only general Lillith has any respect for. Urd does not share her interest in expanding their power and influence, but he still intimidates her when she looks at him. Urd still retains the presence he had 400 years ago, that Lysander has lost, according to Lillith. Serena Belle and Lillith do not get along well. Lillith views her as an inferior general since she is a 4th generation vampire. Additionally, she views her powers as sub-standard compared to the other generals.
