After Aden lost his legs, Cael came to visit him. He explained that he always looked forward to seeing Aden every day, because he was always so kind and thoughtful. Cael said that school felt empty without Aden, and that he had always wanted to be friends with him. He gave Aden his number, and told Aden he could call whenever he wanted to talk. After that, the pair started spending time together outside of school.
