Brotherhood of Light
Formed from survivors of devastated realms, the Brotherhood of Light are the beginnings of the new Church of the Light. A mixture of elite soldiers and poorly trained partisans, the Brotherhood of Light are a guerrilla force dedicated to disrupting the Church of the Dark. They are hunted relentlessly by the followers of the Dark, and as such, rely mostly on stealth and deception. Many of their safehouses have been destroyed, including their headquarters.
Structure
Once, a former priest of the Church of the Light was the leader of this unit but he is long since dead. The Brotherhood now lacks any centralized command structure, each chapter being expected to fend for itself. With the loss of their headquarters, the Brotherhood have lost most of their experienced commanders, effectively decapitating them.
Public Agenda
The Brotherhood's mission is to avenge those killed by the Darkness. Most of the members have lost both home and family, stoking the fire of their resistance.
Recently, a new agenda has arisen. The strength of the Silver Knights and Redeemers has not gone unnoticed. Attempts have been made to enter this realm and contact these upstarts, but all have failed.

Assets
The Brotherhood largely use scavenged equipment in their battles. The knights of this Brotherhood are largely extremely well equipped to deal with material threats. However, they lack magic resistance and will attempt to avoid Dark priests, who routinely slaughter entire chapters all on their lonesome.
Military
Knights of the Brotherhood of Light often vary in training and equipment. Against dark acolytes, they tend to be very effective, but none can challenge dark priests. In general, Brotherhood soldiers will act as spotters and spies, telegraphing the positions of these priests to the Angel of the Light.
Sects
The Circle of the Light are a small, elite group of soldiers from an unnamed realm. They are fanatically devout to destroying the Darkness and specialize in assassination, sabotage, and espionage. Of note, their realm was technologically advanced, allowing these soldiers access to advanced arms and equipment. They operate in small, compartmentalized groups, making wiping them all out an incredibly difficult task, exacerbated by their adaptability and resilience.
