Of the Three of Caersi's offspring, Hirador was considered the youngest and the runt of the clutch of dragonlings. Early life was hard for him, and he never thought himself worthy enough to call himself a dragon. However, with the help of his adopted brother, Uldryd aka Edric Ironhand,, Hirador would grow to become a mighty dragon akin to those of the First Migration, mastering the flow of fundamental forces in his body to be channeled by Edric, as one of the two individuals to claim the title of Fifth Magistrate of Morganos

Personal history
Since he hatched, Hirador's life was fraught with peril. Emerging from Caersei's silver egg, he was the runt of her brood, dwarfed by his brother and sister, Varaskis and Iokys. However, Hirador was closer in size to his non-draconic brother, Uldryd, who his mother had adopted after promising an old friend to protect him. The similarity between the two was uncanny at times- both had inquisitive minds, even from a young age, and had developed a strong bond with the other due to their similar status among the children of the Matron. Because of this bond, Hirador and Uldryd developed faster than both their siblings, making up for each other's weaknesses when they could. When Caersei's brood took to the skies, Hirador took Uldryd atop his back, so that his flightless brother may yet soar like the others.
Hirador and Uldryd were nigh inseparable- everything they did, was shared between the two. Despite Varaskis' superior strength and Iokys' cunning, the duo still proved an equal match for their siblings. By far, Hirador was the best in flight, and Uldryd's manipulation of magic made the pair a formidable opponent when pitted against their siblings. However, Hirador's abilities to survive would be tested when the Elven Supremacists began to produce dragonslayers, fighting a foe that was tailored to fighting dragonkind. Their ability to slay the mightiest creatures in Morganos was proven when a dozen dragon hunters slew Caersei, wounding her so that she could not fly away or fight back.
