Morris Brownbottom is the mayor of the small village of Drumsten in the NecroVerse. Driven only by his greed, he teamed up with Vem a few years back after he found out what the priest was up to because of the heart's silvered words and promises of riches and power. A profoundly joyful NecroMajus, Morris has proven to be excellent at masking his true intentions, just as long as nobody mentions them.

Personal history
After Morris was brought into a powerful family in a town fairly close to Xanthu, the capital city of the Xant empire, all he ever thought about was grabbing power. He networked, made and broke ties, pulled strings, and got rid of the competition. He truly was cold blooded.
But then one day, Morris did something even more terrible than anything he had done before. He attempted a deal with a demon, one of the unholy spawn of the exiled Devils. Fortunately for the town he was found out shortly before he actually struck the deal, leading to the disgrace of his family and his exile.
Not willing to take no for an answer, Morris struck out on his own with what little effects remained of his wealth and favor. He cut ties with everyone he ever knew and went as far outward from the capital so that he would not be recognized. And with that, he found his way to Drumsten. There, Morris built his reputation once again as a kind and gentle Majikai, albeit with a short temper, and slowly rose to high favor and power in the town, if you could call it that. He eventually snatched the title of mayor and has remained so ever since. After discovering the Priest Vem's little secret, Morris attached himself to Vem all the more friendly, partially to scare Vem into giving him reign over the process by gently reminding him that Morris could reveal the scandal to the whole town just like what happened to him all those years ago.
