Zerno of the Harvest
Zerno (a.k.a. They of the Harvest)
Zerno is the god of agriculture, the sun, and in Nebograd: rainfall. They have temples in Fenellore and Nebograd, and is commonly worshipped in pastoral towns. They are represented by a sheaf of wheat on an orange sun. They are Neutral Good and their domains are Life and Light. Followers of Zerno regularly (weekly or even daily) burn a seed for them in sacrifice, and are encouraged to alleviate hunger.
Their holy day, the Festival of the Wreath, is celebrated on the Cusp of the Tressym, the autumnal equinox, on a date usually between the 4th-8th of the Leafdam. It is a celebration of the second harvest. In Fenellore, this is celebrated as a wine festival.
Appearance
Zerno is depicted as strong, with sun-cracked dark skin. They wear a braided wreath of wheat around their neck, seeds hanging like beads from their belt, and wield a sickle. They are either depicted gazing downwards at the ground, or gazing ahead with their hand shielding their eyes.Places of worship
