Daungan
Once the largest town on Dagkut, Daungan was quarantined and then abandoned during the Weeping Plague of 3882. It is now considered a cursed and haunted place, where none would dare tread, no matter what inducement is offered. A few, futile attempts were made to resurrect the settlement in the immediate aftermath of the plague, but the people who went there became the prey of the Talagpasipala. The ruins have the largest concentration of these angry ghosts on the island, and also the largest number of Sumagpangtalag - the ghost-eaters who animate the bodies of the dead to feed on souls - whether of the dead, or those about to be.
