Snow Elven Matrimonial Jewlery

There is a tradition for commited romantic partnerships in Mossberg believed to be Snow Elvish in origin.   Committed relationships, mononamous or polyamorus are sealed with the crafting of matching necklaces. Anyone with multiple partners wears multiple necklaces. If a partner dies they are buried with their neckalces and a wooden bangle/bracelet is carved for the living person who then keeps their necklace hidden in a belt pouch. On thr bangle is the name and something representing the relationship or a cherished memory. It's tradition to keep space on the bangle for future partners. In the afterlife, the bracelets and necklaces are used to guide souls to their partners in life.

Execution

Once a pair of people agree to the commitment, they will collect the pieces and make the jewelry together.   If a partner dies a wooden bangle/bracelet is carved for the living person by a trusted friend of family member. The widowed person keeps their necklace hidden on their person, typically in a belt pouch. On the bangle is the name of the person who passed and something representing the relationship or a cherished memory. Especially In the dangerous world of today, it's tradition to keep space on the bangle for future partners, especially for the long lived elvish.   The dead are burned with their jewlery. It is believed that the bracelets and necklaces are used to guide souls to their partners in the afterlife.
