The Collectors
Not everyone in Nel'Akhiron is a monster or a zealot. The Collectors are a small, secretive organization dedicated to preserving the remnants of the old world. They believe that the truth of the Tempest War lies not in the grandiose pronouncements of the Archomancers, but in the small, forgotten pieces of history scattered across the ruins. They are not warriors, but scavengers and scholars who brave the Magical Bleed to recover artifacts, texts, and items that have survived the Annihilation.
They operate out of hidden, non-descript camps and act as a kind of silent, neutral faction. They will trade rare, powerful items and valuable pieces of lore in exchange for relics you find on your journey. The Collectors hold no allegiance to the old orders and view the cult of The Shattered Sky as madmen. Their only true purpose is to ensure that the memory of the world's original state is not completely erased by the pervasive corruption. They are a valuable source of information, but they are wary of outsiders and will only reveal their true nature to those they deem worthy.
