The Blackfrost Mines of Zivakh
The former mining operation for the rare and powerful crystals used by the Ice (Skitix) Archomancers. The mines are now sealed, but a thick, unnatural frost covers the land, never able to melt.
These mines were the lifeblood of the The White Order's school of Ice (Skitix) magic — rare crystals that warped into Blackfrost: a dark, metallic ice that drains warmth, life, and memory alike. Unlike regular ice, it grows, slowly devouring stone, metal, and flesh with time.
After the Annihilation, the mines became sealed by massive cave-ins (or deliberate collapses). But whispers say the Blackfrost was never simply mined — it was awakened. Something sleeps beneath Zivakh.
