Rhomrehgar
In the southern reaches of Aphea, beyond the mountains that dominate the continent, a noble, proud race have sunk their roots for generations. The arid highlands and tropical savannahs are the homeland of the Morgrim, a sister-species of the Satyrs of Quyrie-Ève, with whom Rhomregar shares a border.
Once, their lands were twice the size, now the nation has been compressed by their conquering neighbours. Still, the Morgrim retain a tight grip on the ground they still control, determined to hold onto their heritage and ancestry that is tied to the land.
Structure
Rhomrehgar is made up of loosely-defined "holds" belonging to noble houses and families, the borders of which are often highly contested and blurred. Each hold is under the protection and governance of that house, and customs, laws and culture can differ greatly from one to another. This makes travel somewhat difficult even to native Morgrim.
Geography and Climate
Northern Rhomrehgar catches the bottom of the The Ironstone Mountains, which then turns into montane grasslands and shrublands. Beyond these highlands, semi-arid steppes, then a vast savannah stretches all the way to the southern coast. Rhomrehgar also reaches the eastern coast through a dense tropical rainforest.Culture

Assets
The different regions of Rhomrehgar possess their own unique assets which they export to other parts of the country. To the north in the mountains, various metals and rare minerals can be found, while the vast tropical rainforests to the east are full of lumber mills. The rainforests also possess unique flora and fauna only found in great supply within the borders of Quyrie-Ève.
The two coasts are also valuable for their fishing and shipbuilding, particularly the eastern coast. The rest of the land is used for hunting, agriculture, livestock and the breeding of mounts.
Demography and Population
The population within Rhomrehgar is approx. 9 million, not including those who have emigrated or been exiled.
