The Warden
The Warden was both an opposing force and a reflection of the Woeful Traveler. Where Kesar’Arrat worried for his divine sister, The Warden empowered the Huntress and emboldened her. Where Kesar’Arrat sought to move freely about the Silver Path and allow its silver thread to shift and change with little or no interference, the Warden sought to control it and to weave the threads according to a higher will. Where Kesar’Arrat remained grounded in nature, the Warden preferred civilization over the wilds and gadgetry over pure magic. To many, The Warden was the wicked shadow inevitably produced by Kesar’Arrat’s silver light, but to others, he was a necessary balance. If the Silver Path was left unrestrained and wild – as Kesar’Arrat perhaps desired – lunar madness would achieve another route with which it could afflict and plague the Moonlit Rise. The Warden was as much a keeper of Kesar’Arrat as he was a safeguard against lunar madness… though he was not a safeguard against corruption.
The Warden, if he had a name beyond his title, never revealed it. He kept much of his history and personal appearance a secret, obscuring his face behind either a metal or porcelain mask that was animated to produce a limited range of expressions… though very few ever saw it in the process of changing. He generally preferred to wear layers of fine leather garb, mostly in gray, with accents of silver and blue. He kept multiple pieces of “primitive” gadgetry upon his person, including tools and various weaponry should he need to defend himself. His left arm was a silver prosthetic, simple in design and basic in functionality – perhaps the oldest piece of gadgetry on his person. Per his “duties”, The Warden spent most of his time in the Moonlit Tower and was on relatively good terms with the people of Arra'Silana. While many of the locals found his unreasonably happy nature to be incredibly off-putting, they never attempted to remove him… merely avoided him.

Tenets of Faith
Empower the Hunt, Restrain the Path – Nature is a wild creature incapable of achieving order on its own. Seek allies in those of the Huntress who may purge the world of unneeded weeds, paving the way to weave the Silver Path into a more orderly future. Do not trust the Silver Path to weave anything but chaos. The Silver Path must be secured, it's essence conquered, and its meaning carefully controlled.
