A picturesque chunk of land ripped away from its original dimension by the Void to create a safe home for Astrit, Bucket, and their future friends. Until recently, the dimension was protected from outside forces by a mysterious phenomenon.
Regions
Valley
A low area created by a ring of protective mountains. A river runs through the valley leading into a lake.
Forest
A thick forest full of deciduous trees, with more coniferous trees closer to the mountains.
Plains
The grassy green base of the valley.
Star Lake
A star-shaped lake in the middle of the Valley.
Beyond the Valley
The land beyond the mountains gradually becomes more warped and unstable, eventually tapering off into nothingness as you reach the edge of the dimension.
Phenomena
Protective Barrier (broken)
A mysterious force that protected the Hub from unwanted intruders, disallowing random warps from invaders such as the DPD. The source of this protection was revealed to be the existence of the Tainted Hub, a twisted version of the Hub that exists purely to put its residents through suffering to keep the Hub protected.
Emotion Based Weather
The Hub doesn't have a typical weather cycle, instead, the weather is dictated by the collective emotions of the people residing there. For example, if the majority of people are happy, it'll be sunny, but if they're sad, it'll rain. This also extends to the seasons. If enough people think "I wish I could build a snowman" or "I could go for a snowball fight about now" then the season will shift to Winter. Despite this phenomenon, the dimension's seasonal cycle seems pretty normal because people's feelings tend to line up with the typical season times anyway.
Healing Water
Creatures and Plants
Angry Trees
Plant or animal? Who can tell these days? Whatever the case, these sentient trees don't like it when you try to chop them down, uprooting themselves and walking elsewhere if you swing an axe at them.
Forest Critters
The Valley's forest is home to a plethora of critters that can be found in temperate places, such as deer, squirrels, bears, and an assortment of birds.
Groblok Grunglers
Large sludgy creatures somewhat resembling stone lions. Noted for having a repulsive stench, it's very common to smell them before you see them. They have two legs and a fish-like tail and need to crawl to get around. Groblok Grunglers have a diet of pure oil, rocks, and mushy flesh bits. Only 2 are left in the Valley.
Four Flowers
Landmarks
Hubhouse
The house built and lived in by the Hubgang. Though it started small, the log cabin kept expanding as more and more people came to live in the valley. It features bedrooms for everyone and additional guest rooms, a cozy lounge, an extensive kitchen ( complete with an air fryer ), multiple smaller hangout spots, and a basement.
Cea's Greenhouse
A small greenhouse connected to the house full of a variety of plants from across the multiverse. Currently tended to by kekles while Cea is away.
Astrit's Garage
Disconnected from the main house, the garage is where Astrit tinkers with the mechanical and arcane arts.
The Gazebo
The gazebo serves as an ornate centrepiece for the hubhouse's garden. Placed on it is the Dimensional Door, an invention of Astrit that can create a warp for anyone to use and go on adventures of their own.
Ancient Music Mechs
A giant mechanical person from the Valley's original dimension created by unknown hands. Although out of commission now, the mech seems to have been powered by music.
History
The Valley was created by the Void after making a deal with Astrit and Bucket so they could have a place to safely live. It was a chunk of a dimension ripped from its original location and moved elsewhere. Astrit, Bucket, Sand, and kekles were the first to set foot in and choose to live in it. During their first night there, they were attacked by the Dimensional Police Department who had detected the strange dimensional anomaly created by the Void. Sand and Astrit were backed into a corner by the attack from the DPD's specialists: Quil and Cruel Thesis. To remedy the situation, Bucket slipped out to make another deal with the Void which would keep their new dimension protected. The Void agreed, creating the Valley's protective magic which was sustained by the new Tainted Valley's existence.
Over the years, all the other members of the Hubgang would come to live in the Valley.
