House Aelith
Culture
See Sael Malion
House Aelith had developed an isolationist culture due to its location on the northern cliffs, nearly outside the Enclaves' boundaries. They were fascinated by the study of creation, particularly air currents and weather patterns, giving them a cultured academic background.

History
Foundation
Surviving legends note that one 'Aeris Aelith' was one of the Original Elves who traveled with the Maiden down the river Envalcir at the very beginning of the Enclaves. He appears in several variations of the tale, and his name was recorded with the list of Eleven Elven Houses that formed the city of Mauribon in the 111th year of the Age of Light. The name of House Aelith is enshrined in the reflecting pools in murals detailing the early times of the Enclaves.
Early Years of the Enclaves
Aeris Aelith became fascinated by the ever-changing weather patterns he noticed during the journey and kept a journal detailing various phenomena and occurrences, effectively launching the study of weather amongst the Elven people. This prompted him to lead several expeditions along the northern borders of the valley, particularly in the cliffs, where he had a clear view of the various effects he sought to study. It was during this time period that he discovered the land that House Aelith would soon claim as its territory.
Due to the growth in the population after the first millennium, House Aelith led the Elves that had sworn to them to the northeast and settled among the limestone cliffs of the north. They were the northernmost House for the rest of their existence, and often provided a buffer between the Dwarves of the Mountain and the Elves of the Valley.
The Sael Malion
The northeastern corner of the Enclaves began to be dominated by a culture that emphasized the air and the winds around them. The Elves of House Aelith, in particular, made several of the early devices meant to track the wind direction and weather, and began to chronicle the yearly patterns. This cultural area would eventually adopt the name Sael Malion or Air Elves.
