Personal history
Early Life
Aenlin Rylin was born the first son of Avalon Rylin in the 2,361st year of the Age of Restoration during the reign of Alana Rylin. Born during a time of extensive peace in the Enclaves and the great-grandson of the Steward, the young elf was allowed to grow up relatively free of pressure.
Exploration of the North
After completing his rite of passage upon reaching the age of majority, Aenlin followed the example of others in his family and began exploring the northern mountains, seeking to learn more about the ways of the Frozen Wilds and the various tribes that were the remnants of an ancient civilization lost to the storm. He established connections with the Dour, Salion, and Ithil tribes during his two-century-long expedition. He brought back news of the new political structure of this realm for the official records.
Experimenting with the Elements
Having learned much about how the clansmen of the Frozen Wilds had adapted to the harsh climates, Aenlin began to experiment with how the Enclaves could adapt this to suit their own purpose. This also led him to further experiment with how elementals could be used to better everyday life. Many of his observations helped inform the Laws regarding the Moral Treatment of Elementals.
Time as the Winter Warden
Aenlin took the position at the age of 528, and mainly continued the policies of his father and grandfather. The main contribution of Water Providence is sharing the results of its research on insulating homes with the northern settlements in the territory of the Lin Malion.
Education
As a scion of House Rylin, Aenlin recieved an excellent primary education. As he went through life, he followed the path of a researcher and became a renowned expert on Elementals and the Frozen Wilds.
