Layer Delta

Overview

Layer-Delta, shortened as Layer-δ, is a timeline set two layers away from Layer-A, separated by Layers -ß and -γ. It is physically identical to the previous Layers, but the actual makeup of the Layer is different. The Periodic Table, instead of terminating at the 118th element of Oganesson, contains 236 elements that fall into the new categories of ‘false metals’, ‘synthetic metals’, ‘synthetic metalloids’, and ‘living elements’. This has led to a radically different world history despite no events really changing that much. Some of the temporal nonsense from Layer-γ seems to have spilled over into Layer-δ, resulting in some supernatural beings, such as the undead, various types of sea monster, and phoenixes. All of these beings take advantage of the extended Periodic Table to exist in a comprehensible way.
