Europan Dragons are a sapient species of supernatural being native to Layer Gamma. Known scientifically as Draco occidentis, they are related to Asian Dragons {Draco orientalem} and share many features with their eastern neighbors.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Europan dragons possess at least two legs {four in the case of the subspecies D. occidentis quadrops}, scaly skin similar to that of other reptiles, heat pits on the face, a bony tail, and forward-facing eyes. Various subspecies possess additional anatomical features, from wide wings of the Welsh Dragon {D. occidentis brittania}, to the fish-like spines of the Doggerland Serpent {D. occidentis doggerlandia}, and the multiple heads of the Hellas Hydra {D. occidentis hellas}. All subspecies of the europa dragon have the same capacity for intelligence as humans.
