Tia Quill, apprentice to the Wizard Ketra Kimbell and Kolv's best friend in Spiritvale, is a naturally gifted and smart young apprentice who excells at nearly all her lessons, although, she often has difficulty translating what she has learned to real world applications.

She generally follows the lead of others, rather than taking leadership herself and is uncomfortable when leadership is thrusted upon her.
She is smart, witty, and playful. Tia likes having fun and getting into trouble with Kolv.
Tia has simpathy for Kolv and tries her best to teach him how to be a wizard.
