Dark Elves
Elves used to be a blind Sun loving species, but then the elven vampire king Henry Teakaa spread his vampirical curse across the globe until every almost every single elf was a vampire. This curse prevented them from walking around during the day and eventually moonlight changed the color of their skin.
Now Dark Elves are nocturnal vampires who excel in their world famous intelligence.
