Jessia Starseeker

Raised with her non-identical twin sister, Jessia and Ariel were considered prodigies in the magical arts. However, while Ariel was a beloved agent of the elven courts, Jessia preferred to simply wallow in magical lore and wealth, mainly keeping to herself. Like most elves, Jessia believes in the superiority of her people and in their rightful place as the rulers of the realms. However, following her sister's near exile following an unfortunate incident in the royal court, Jessia was sent with her sister to study at a distant academy. Jessia began to hate her sister for this turn of events, as she lost access to a lot of her elven luxuries. Growing distant, Jessia began studying and equalled her sister in both raw talent and knowledge, but fell in love with the darker arts.   Following their graduation and her sister leaving for another continent, Jessia returned to the elven courts. However, once at court she wanted more than just her past luxuries. She wanted real power... and the throne. Using her connections and dark magics, Jessia orchestrated a plot that would have had wed the crown prince of the greatest of the elven courts. Fortunately, the high mage of the court uncovered her enchantments and exposed her. For her crimes, Jessia was exiled from the elven courts and informed her return to elven lands would result in execution.   Banished, Jessia fled the continent, now devoted to gaining enough power to create her own kingdom.   Skills and Abilities
Jessia is an extremely talented sorceress, and has no problem using it to get her way. She tends to focus on pure elemental magic, necromancy, shadow magic, illusions and transformative magic. She is a highly well educated elf, having trained amongst their elite, and despite her lust for power and growing insanity remains highly intelligent, conniving and savvy.   She hasn't much martial training, though is handy with a dagger.
