Education
Il-Omin specialized in physics and mathematics during his school years, in preparation for studying engineering.
He came across the opportunity to do his graduation project within Ranul's space program and consequently helped with improving the design of the exoskeletons intended for use in high gravity environments. For this, he drew inspiration from recent research concerning Securer combat armor.
Soon after graduating, he enrolled for spaceflight training in order to qualify for joining actual space missions.
Employment
Currently he works as a Junior Engineer in Ranul's space program. He is part of the first manned expedition to Tuvasuno.
Intellectual Characteristics
He inherited both Il-Arka's diligence and En-Evon's carefree nature, resulting in an adventurous spirit as well as the ambition and persistence to actually work towards his dreams. He tends to focus on the bright side of things that he is passionate about, such as the thrill of exploration as opposed to the dangers inherent in space travel.

Likes & Dislikes
Ever since he was a kid, he was fascinated by two things in particular: space travel and law-keeping superheroes.
He dislikes competitive sports, partly because he was never really good at them and partly because he thinks some people take them too seriously.
Also, he shares his mother's disdain for all sorts of criminals and the pain they cause others.

Family Ties
Omin is very close to his mother, and outright admires her. It is hard to say which came first - his interest in law-keeping superheroes, or his realization that his mother is exactly that.
In contrast, he is rather estranged from his father. Though Evon did attempt to connect with his son (as soon as Arka allowed it), Omin was rarely impressed with the activities they did together, and feels highly embarrassed by Evon's delusions of starting a musical career.
However, Omin has a lot of respect for Evon's elder brother, as well as all his grandparents and great-grandparents.

He always enjoyed working on minor engineering projects in his spare time.
