Loxodon
The Loxodon, a race of strange elephant beings that tower above other humanoids, standing well over seven feet tall. They have trunks, tusks, ears, and faces of elephants, and hulking bipedal bodies covered by thick, leathery skin. Each of their hands has four thick digits, and their feet are the flat-bottomed, oval-shaped feet of elephants. Like that of an elephant, a Loxodon's trunk is a useful appendage. They were first discovered many years ago in the Era of Demise, said to have been created by Yharm herself, as they are incredibly imposing and said to be violent and aggressive, which is why rumors of their creation have surfaced. However, the Loxodon are incredibly loyal fighters that tend to be very secluded from the rest of the world. They are said to be ancient, seclusive, and powerful warriors. Originally living underground in a large system of caverns, the Loxodon sought for food one day on the surface, being seen by other mortals for the first time, this started the conflict between them for the first time. This was the first documented instance of the Loxodon. Ever since that moment, the Loxodon sought out for better locations for their kind to live, eventually moving to the mountains of Terra Terrarium to live out on the mountaintops for ages and ages. Eventually other creatures would live in their previously filled caverns, but after the Loxodon were discovered, they quickly sought a new home, as they wanted solidarity from other mortals.
The Battle of Faron was a large multiple year conflict between the Loxodon and humans. Faron, an extremely tall mountain in Terra Terrarium, is one of the largest mountains in the entire country, and the humans wanted to climb the mountain and essentially excavate the entire mountain for resources, but those mountains are the homes of the Loxodon, where they live and have lived for years and years, since before the Era of Man. They have lived in the mountains of Terra Terrarium for ages and Faron was one of the largest mountain civilizations in the entire world, and they did not want to hand it off to the humans, who were going to destroy it and extract all the resources and goods from it. The Loxodon are peaceful, but fierce warriors when they need to be, so the battle was long and arduous, enlisting men and teens of both the humans and the Loxodon, and ended with the death of many.
The ceasefire ended long after the battle started, but not without the death of plenty of both sides. There were plenty of angry people on both sides, however, it was agreed the humans would leave the Loxodon alone, and leave them in peace, and since those battles, things have since been patched between the Loxodon and the humans, no larger garnering anger and hate between them at any sight of each other, however the Loxodon tend to still stay secluded, but some do wander the world...
