Pmnemium Alloy

Pmnemium Alloy is an exceedingly rare metal alloy formed during the Helios-Apollan Binary Supernovae. One of the densest elements in the known universe, it's comprised of Osmium, Iridium and an unidentified element all compressed under the pressure of a supernova using Cosmic Aurora.

However, this alloy can be found in massive fields of meteors within The Taygestronese or more accurately the Lanaxdrian Warrior States. In fact, they believe its the condensed fragments of their progenitor Dodros and the Omphalos of Karoj-Menos. 

So the Lanaxdrians claim the alloy as their inheritance from the Great Defender himself.

Given its high density, Lanaxdrian boys must train their whole lives to prepare their bodies to wield these tools in battle using weapons, armors & fracture couplings made from Pmeumium Alloy.

However, the main reason for its use is its ability to contain the memories of its former users. Most Lanaxdrian shields are handed down through the generations to gift their experiences in combat to the younger generation.

Which is why the common phrase "either come home with or on your hoplon" was told. Anyone who threw down their shields to run away were considered cowards and traitors to their family for losing the memories of countless generations of their family's warriors.

It's also one of the most important materials used in an Baethlaic Embryo, acting as the magnetic core for a planet in the process of atmospheric re-engineering.

Given its rarity and the political red-tape from the Lanaxdrian Diarchy, the Collective is forced to use ...unscrupulous methods of getting the rare mineral from its rivals.

In fact, the inciting incident for the Lanaxdrian Revolt on Thessalis-Prime was the legal rhetoric used to expel the Lanaxdrians from their homeland and give it to mining operations within the Ionite Flotilla of Space-Faring Colonists.

Once the Lanaxdrians escaped Thessalis-Prime and returned to the Taygestronese, Lanaxdrian scouts are granted the right of summary execution for any Ionite colonists and/or other illegal miners found harvesting Pmnemium Alloy meteors anywhere in the Taygestronese.

In fact, one of the reasons why the Lanaxdrians are so hesitate to leave the Taygestronese and fight pitched battles far away from their home is the fear of allowing raiders and miners to swoop in and steal their precious minerals.
