The Enlightened
The Enlightened is a collective term used to refer to the peoples who migrated to Veraqez when A'nensire was destroyed.
The Enlightened are composed of elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes and humans that originally inhabited the Eastern continent of A'nensire before the Pyroclastic Ruin. Almost universally, the Enlightened are of fair hair and complexion, having come from a colder and more Northerly climate than Veraqez offers. Over the past ten centuries, the Enlightened have come to think of themselves as one people, one original nationality, even as they acknowledge their physical differences. Many cultural practices have been adopted by all Enlightened people but distinct customs and traditions still exist, especially among the elves and dwarves of the Enlightened.

Beauty Ideals
Each distinct ancestry of the Enlightened maintain beauty standards of their own. However, there are some commonly recognized traits which are deemed desirable across the Enlightened Races. Fair, clear complexion is seen as a sign of affluent status, assumed to be derived from a lack of physical labor and exposure to the elements. Full heads of hear, well coiffed and facial hair which is well trimmed and styled among both men and women (where applicable). Bright eye color is seen as a connection to ancient fae bloodlines and possibly Old World royalty.
