The corporation known as Tekgenix joined the Bulwark Conglomerate, and in doing so, they ended up offending Sato GS, the company they had been in a partnership with for decades. Sato was heavily against the isolation and less capitalist structure of the Conglomerate, so they ended up threatening Tekgenix's worlds with nuclear weaponry. The UCS and the Conglomerate themselves got involved, trying to keep the peace between the two. Luckily, the conflict ended in a stalemate, and though Tekgenix and Sato skirmished in deep space quite a bit, no nuclear weapons were fired. The armistice treaty stated that Tekgenix will remain a separate ICG, but Sato GS is to leave them alone. So far, the treaty has held, though tensions are high.
