As of October 2025, I am a proud member of the Seven Tomes Chapter, a community dedicated to worldbuilding in the fantasy genre.

Birds of a Feather

One of the greatest strengths of World Anvil is its community and I am very grateful to get to be a part of it! These badges represent the niches of folks I most identify with.

Before Summer Camp was announced, I could spend entire days working on lore (12+ hours!) As soon as it I saw the event, I was super stoked, just one more excuse to keep doing it.

However Feral I am for World Building, I still want to prioritize self care, taking breaks when needed, and stepping away from a challenge if that's what best for me at the time.

Dewy Diamonds are inspired by Camp Chill, but for those striving for big goals. I always want to fully finish the challenge at its highest level. As of yet, I haven't reached a Diamond level badge; I reject the "Diamond or Die" mantra and want to reach the lofty goal without burning myself out. I love that the Dewdrops share this philosophy.

The most important part of any challenge is simply the participation- the writing and the intense effort to make progress towards our collective goal of improving our work and our abilities as world builders. Over time, I hope to grow this sash to be a testament to that journey of a goalpost that always moves just a little bit further ahead.

This sash should not be underestimated–while the official challenges are very important to me as a world builder, community is equally so. I cherish our collective creativity and stretching my writing muscles with new ideas. These badges are more than just extra credit participation to me, they are fellowship.

Published February 27th, 2025. I authored a section of the Campfire Collection: Ryuutama Community Zine, adding an additional homebrew class, the Familiar Handler. It introduces a new animal type with more features than typical animals in the game and related mechanics for those who wish to tame magical creatures and keep them as familiars.
