New Clyde

The Clyde Orbital Fortification Lattice COFL act as the primary defence against external planetary threats, primarily to the orbital manufacturies and space lifts. The USR and PASO while having some military capabilities in orbit haven't invested in large scale defences or sleet pressence due to the overwhelming CoN presence on the planet making up over 75% of the planets total population and the central role the planet has to CoN power projection. In the event of any war it is taken for granted every CoN reasource would be used to protect it and attempting to assault it would be countermount to suicide. On the ground a variety of commonwealth forces dot the CoN sections of the planet, with the main sections consisting of veteran but recovering troops send back to rest and re-equip before heading out to other conflicts.

New Clyde is a dockyard on a planetary scale, exports of every other type pale in comparison compared to the multi trillion pound contracts for ship building that are agreed near daily. This does mean the CoN sections of New Clyde have some of the largest swings in unemployment and economic productivity in the entire empire as some of the largest contracts can draw in 30+ million workers for orbital construction jobs.
