Garden City

Up to date: December 2025

Hometown of Alea and a very nature friendly city.
Loosely located at and based on Hannover, Germany.
Garden City is a city in North Germany. It is known for its many parks, gardens and how nature is incorporated in the city image, often called the ‘greenest city of Germany’.   It is a buzzing city known for conventions and industry, but it does not lack history and culture, some districts still express this through their half-timbered buildings.   The nature rich center and surroundings along with its relative acceptance of the Fey Folk, as far as protecting their presence through the General Equal Treatment Act, makes this city a Fey rich environment. While the nearest Fey Fort, Evergreen, is still a half hour drive from the city limits, its many parks and gardens host their shares of benevolent Fey, and many Changelings choose to settle in Garden City’s working class and student districts (North Town and South Town especially).

The 13 Districts (not yet reworked): 1. Center
2. Vahrenwald-List. Most populous district. Affordable housing, efficient public transportation.
3. Bothfeld-Vahrenheide. Blend of urban and natural environments.
4. Buchholz-Kleefeld. Near Eilenriede City Forest.
5. Misburg-Anderten. Historical sights, Leine River, parks green spaces, less nightlife and tourist attractions.
6. Kirchrode-Bemerode-Wülferode. (Ki-Be-Wü). Kronsberg Hill.
7. South Town.
8. Döhren-Wülfel. Centuries-old villages, half-timbered houses, family owned shops.
9. Ricklingen.
10. Linden. Restaurants, cinemas, new housing, city hall, runners, cyclists, festivals.
11. Ahlem-Badenstedt-Davenstedt. Residential, parks, small shops, WWII memorials.
12. Herrenhausen-Stöcken.
13. North Town.

Through the city passes the Leine River (not updated), and it also holds the largest urban city forest in Germany, Alder Park, housing a large amount of plant-aspect Fey.
