Personal history
Yamis Yordt was crowned as King of the Gap after his father, King Yyn III defeated King Bysan of Yosteröne, recreating the unified Yordt kingdom of Ogre's Gap, also known as Serepar. Yamis inherited this kingdom when Yyn died whilst going off to fight King Atitus of Ferraria.
Yamis took command of the southern coalition that had formed against Atitus, but they were defeated at the Battle of Nuk's crossing in 68 PT. Atitus sought to subjugate King Yamis and his territories, and he did this by splitting up the coalition. Atitus offered his daughter's hand in marriage to Yamis in exchange for peace, which Yamis accepted. He married Ulassari in 69 PT.
However, Yordt refused to be thassalised, only accepting to be titular member of the Ironmoot rather than a full thassal of Ferraria. Still, Yamis agreed to the stripped of his title of 'King' in exchange for 'Lord', recognising the supremacy of Ferraria (for a time).
Yamis spent the rest of his life fighting bandits south of the Gap with his wife Ulasarri, who herself was a great warrior. Yamis subjugated his own thassals in order to prepare his kingdom for a future war against the Oborors.
Yamis had two children with Ulasarri, Lara and Luvys , with Luvys succeeding his father after Yamis died in 77 PT.
