Peytov Sa'la (Pay tov sa ahlla)

Peytov Sa'la, is the Grand Chancellor of the Iotian Empire, making him the functional head of Iotian Government, as well as one of the most powerful people in The Expanse.   Born on the planet Neban to humble orgins, the young Paytov would go on to play a major role in the overthrowing of the Thos'oh regime as a rebel leader. It was on his advice and leadership that Neban became one of the first planets to voluntarily join the Iotian Empire.   Though orginally Neb'oh, Paytov changed his name from the orginal Phey'zu to Paytov and transfered to a humanoid created body in order to pursue oppurtunities off world. His unbridled ambition, cunning, ruthlessness and willingness to sacrifice lead to his climbing the ladder of power until he was appointed Chancellor after the death of the former Chancellor Lorina.   As Chancellor he has a neurolink implanted in him that allows him access to most of the Emperors thoughts and vast knowledge. Though this means he can hide nothing from the Emperor, insuring his loyalty.   Relationships   Janus Sa'ala
Janus is the created daughter of Peytov and despite his reputation as cold and ruthless, he is the opposite with his "daughter". He encouraged her to pursue her dreams of joining the academy and eventually joining the Expeditionary force.   Selu

Selu, a Yan'oh who Peytov has known since his youth and fellow rebel fighter. The two shared a love for their friend and commrade Usa Tsudruma. Though after the successful rebellion and overthrow of the Thos'oh their lives diverged, him pursuing power through the Iotian Imperial government and her through various business ventures of dubious legality. The two annoy each other immensely but are the closest to a friend either really has.
