As the Voðeren states grew in the Þaru Isles, they gained increasing control over their raiders, and eventually began turning them them against one another. During the Time of Troubles, this turns into fullscale war, which lasts many years. With the partition of Svjolheim in 1974, the wars would finally end. However, in many instances, the raiders (now refugees) from the losing countries flee to mainland Telgren and establish Voðeren states there.
