Volthic Circle
The Volthic Circle is defined as the lands of the Eighth Realm where for at least one day of the year the sun does not set, as well as having one day in which the sun does not rise. Life in the Volthic Circle is harsh due to the cold. The circle was formally named after the northern continent of Voltheim by the Gnomes, but is also known by many different names by the varying cultures which live within or adjacent to the circle. It is often seen as a strange region by outsiders, but the sequence of days is seen as normal by its inhabitants.
