Psoglav

The Psoglav is a rare monster which appears similar to a mutated werewolf, but is not sentient, merely animalistic. Though they have the body of a man, they have a head more similar to a dog's, with a long snout and canine teeth. However, Psoglavs only have a single eye in the center of their forehead. Though the Psoglav stands on two legs, it has cloven hooves rather than the feet of a typical two-legged animal. Psoglavs are reviled across the lands because they are scavengers who have the dexterity to break into grave sites and consume the bodies of the dead. They will also eat the living if they get the chance, but rarely venture out into highly populated areas and only hunt at night, hiding in caves during the day. Psoglavs are commonly belived to descend from the experiment of some mad higher power due to their bodily composition, as many mages have attested that to create such a creature would be beyond mortal magic.
