Proto-Human Ægyians

Proto-Human Ægyians are one of the oldest postulated cultures which may have inhabited the Ægyian River system during the primordial age. It seems likely that they would have depended on Divine Technology in order to maintain their riverine lifestyle. As Divine Technology began to decay, they lost their ability to control the rivers and had to adapt to a more migratory lifestyle, developing into modern Humans during this time. They predate the Pre-Ægyians on the timeframe of the region.
Evidence of the Proto-Human Ægyians is sparse, but certain structures have been found in the region that the modern Ægyians consider cursed and are the basis of much of their traditional runic magic, which displays highly advanced qualities that may have been inspired by observation of these structures. Much of Ægyian architecture is also based on these structures.
