Lixsnagn Pantheon
The Lixsnagn faith is a collection of gods worshipped by many of the Iajephic - Alyubians peoples in varying degrees. The Lixsnagn faith has many parallels to the Alwatian religion, but is considered heretical by the Alwatians. While the gods are similar, the Lixsnagn faith has wildly diverging mythology. Due to the major differences between the Lixsnagn variants as well as with the Alwatians, many of the parallels are extremely hard to spot for those who are not deeply knowledgeable, but the two sides consider one another misguided as opposed to heathen enemies. They also believe that the gods are not structured, and that each god manages his or her domain on their own, without influence from the others. The various peoples practicing Lixsnagic traditions often favor one or two gods above the others, with worship varying between poly and monotheism depending on the site. Many Lixsnagic variations denounce the other gods of the pantheon as demonic, which makes centralization of the religion hard.
- Basʾlan, King of the Rains: a weather god associated with crops. Many see him as an unofficial leader of the pantheon.
- Matsara, Lord of the Endless Horizon: A traveler and adventurer god, Matsara is said to be able to run around the earth in a single day.
- Muy, The Omnipotent One: the death god and personification of the underworld. Muy comitted an unclear crime in the early days of the world and was erased from this world, but survived in the afterlife. Being a god he warped that realm to suit him and is only kept in check by the others. He sees and knows all in the underworld, but must learn of that above via the souls of the damned since he cannot view the world above
- Khašmar, The Conqueror: a god of war and metals. He slayed the world serpent at the end of the Golden Age in order to ensure the survival of the races of the world.
- Yashtar, The Oracle: an all-seeing god whose most fervent followers claim orchestrated the birth of the universe
- Tīxinat, The Restless: a militaristic and female-focused goddess. In some myths she is said to have bested and bedded most of the other members of the pantheon, though most claim Basʾlan is her primary consort. The Tīxinatine Society, a powerful woman-only organization, is run by her priestesses. Particularly despised by radical followers of Yashtar, there she is known as Tiasimat, the Serpent, and reviled as the mother of all monsters.
- ʿNjitsar, The Far-Seeing: a powerful female goddess who is said to be an unmatched archer. She is said to have the eyes of a hawk and spot any foes before they even plan to attack her.
- Aymara, The Bountiful: daughter of Basʾlan and the earth and born of the first rains. As a deputy of Basʾlan, she is the goddess of all that grows, and is primarily worshipped at the harvest. Some myths claim she invented the cornucopia as a way to feed to people, but that it led to endless war over the powerful item, which led to her taking back control of its powers.
- Evrah, Matron of All: a fertility goddess associated with the earth. Evrah gave birth to Aymara after the first rains and is also said to have created humanity to partake in the beauty of the realm.
- Ataris, The Heavenly Pearl: a goddess of beauty and inner strength, a protector of her people as well as being an unattainable love.
- Zxyʿzxya, The Unknowable: a constantly shifting hermaphrodotic deity whose form also shifts between male and female. Zxyʿzxya is said to be the deity of luck, phases, solstices, and mysteries, and favors the bold.
- Beteris, The Triple Mind: a three-bodied god with three personailities, they are divine triplets who control life, death, and the state between. It's said that by calling upon Beteris, a sufficiently devout priest can slay anyone instantly with no signs of what killed them.
- Chafrom, The Wise: a protector god who is said to watch from his mountain and defend the weak. He is also the god of sailors (not that there are many Lixsnagns who sail) for he ensures their boats do not crash into the rocks.
- Dagoth, Royal Father: a god of royalty and one who is attested to not interact with those of common birth at all. His worshippers are mainly those of the city Urgat Calim, whose residents believe they are all of royal blood. He is also invoked by those who wish to claim royalty.
- Yahʾšm, The Holy: a god said to have the power to heal any wound and to revive the dead. He is the patron of all healers and apothecaries. Said to have refused to heal Muy for his crimes, but that he was forced to sacrifice his raising of the dead in order to do so, as this would allowed Muy back into the world.
- The Ktritians: Five goddesses who were the latter children of Basʾlan and Evrah. They are the goddesses of the five stages of pregnancy.
- Lkwatu, The Unmatched: a god who is said to be the master of any game, art, or artisan craft. He is said to have defeated Muy in chess despoite Muy knowing his every move.
- Respakkat, The Magi: said to have invented magic
