High Lord Slomen Ironjaw

High Lord Slomen Ironjaw was once the most feared pirate in all of Archelin's seas. Born a slave in 1947 S.C. and spending his early years rowing in a galley, Ironjaw perhaps unsurprisingly quickly grew to hate humanity, vowing he would take vengeance. Throughout his life, Ironjaw would take any opportunity to kill and capture humans. When Ironjaw was 13, he participated in a mutiny against the pirate captain of his ship, which culminated in a general revolt and subsequent overtaking of the ship by the former slaves. Ironjaw would position himself to become captain of the ship by age 17. From there he set about building up his power and crushing his rivals, of which there were many. Soon after he started to build up a proper fleet, he spent almost a decade locked in a feud with Sturm Bloodwhip, defeating the rival captain in the epic Battle of Raylon Isle. It was in this fateful fight that Ironjaw would lose his lower jaw, in the process gaining his fearsome title. Sturm Bloodwhip's fleet defeated, the now 25 year old Ironjaw would focus on capturing mages in order to gain himself a magical jaw, a task he would soon succeed at. Ironjaw's next decade was filled with a slowly building fleet, brilliant battles, and constant fighting with all manners of authority in the chaotic seas of Archelin. However, by 35, Ironjaw would begin to grow fat and unsuitable for the high seas, and so took to the task of building himself a real Empire. Ironjaw would found the creatively named Ironjaw City in 1982 S.C. on the massive island of [TBD]. [TBD] had numerous Goblin tribes, and so Ironjaw began building up a massive army of slave-catchers, decimating the local island population and cornering Archelin's pirate slave markets near-entirely. Ironjaw even imported captive baby Lizardfolk in order to build himself a sort of "Royal Guard". He forced tribes to settle in new towns guarded by former pirates and slave-catchers which would act entirely on the premise of getting more slaves. In 1991 S.C., declaring himself High Lore of All Goblinkind, Ironjaw pronounced himself as a proper ruler, a claim heeded by absolutely nobody outside of range of his "tribute ships". Ironjaw had by this point become fabulously wealthy, but also disgustingly fat; his success garnering him even more enemies. However, by constantly stoking internal divisions in his pirate fleets and with the help of his loyal Guards, he managed to avoid numerous assassination attempts. In the end, though, his enormous appetite would prove his undoing; his heart collapsed under the stress and he died in 1999 S.C.
