Forestborn Kobolds

The Forestborn Kobolds typically make their homes in densely wooded areas, which is what has led to their name. Forestborn kobolds, unlike their cave-dwelling counterparts, prefer working with wood to stone, and generally construct large communal huts for their families. These structures are typically dark and smokey, with forestborn kobolds keeping fires lit within during the daytime and sometimes the night. Forestborn kobolds use their homes as places to congregate, and the fire and smoke is comforting to them. During kobold celebrations, the forestborn tend to sprinkle herbs and spices in their fires to make them change color or to make a sort of communal smoking event.
