Forest Elves

Pre-Salazuir - Forest elves originally began as a cultural shift rather than a race. These elves began as a faction within elven society that focused more on the natural law and magics of the world as opposed to artifice or individual magical talents, becoming detached from their brethren and creating nature sanctuaries across Salazuir. These sacturaries quickly became extremely influential within the regions they established themselves in, leading to attention from the political higher-ups. Due to being a part of the counter-culture movment these sanctuaries came under scrutiny and were compared to the various other Elven cults which had begun to develop. Hoping to avoid another Cult of Kunin becoming too influential to dislodge, the elves of these sancturies were warned that by continuing their activities they would be labeled enemies of the state and criminals. This decree left them with just two options; stay and potentially be imprisioned or murdered by the state- or go into exile on the Salazuiri colonies. Many of these elves chose exile to the lands that would later become known as An'seidna, Cet'aenn, Ærellion; where they would live without the direct oversight of the powers of Salazuir. Those that chose to stay would be heavily suppressed by the government and their sanctuaries destroyed, effectivly erasing their culture from Salazuir. Those that fled the oppressive mainland would settled along the frontiers of the elven colonies, far from the central bureacracies of these colonies, themselves oppressive in their own way. There, they would meet many new and strange people and cultures, while also being isolated enough from the other elves that they began to develop a unique physiology.
Post-Salazuir - In the centuries which followed they refined their beliefs to become more intune with the natural flow of the world and began to call themselves, Nemurin or later refered to as the Forest Elves. Although the various Nemurin all sprung from the same source, their development is more akin to convergent evolution than one distinct subrace. In essence, the label of Forest Elf is a broad term to describe all elves whose lineage goes back to those ancient Slazuiri sanctuaries.
An'seidna Nemurin - These elves, known as the An'yu Nemurin, follow a very simple belief "take only what is given" meaning that they only take what nature provides them and do not exploite it like the other races in the world. Due to this belief they have very few cities and live in tribes spread across the continent.(This is just the foundation for what they believe, im not very inspired for these ones right now since they are the most simplistic but i'll come back to refine them - Me)
Cet'adenn Nemurin - The elves, also known as the Cet'yu Nemurin, that transported to Cet'aenn found themselves in dense jungle and soon came in contact with the Dryads. After soon time, the Nemurin began to adopt the beliefs of the Dryads and in later centuries this belief became known as "The Way of the Dryad". The Way of the Dryad is the Nemurin belief that nature or The World Mother as they call it, is the progenitor of all things, including magic. These Numurin also have very in-depth knowledge of what they call "Āyrta" or deep magic, which uses a combination of six of the eight way of casting(Natural, Mental, Runic, Ritual, Imbuement, and Innate) and focuses on six of the 12 schools of magic(Elemental, Sensual, Ethereal, Restoration, Abjuration, and Temporal). They live in small territories that they call Suorym meaning "Forested domain" in their tounge.
Ærellion Nemurin - These elves, who are known as Ære'yu Nemurin, ended up on the eastern end of the continent and differ greatly from the rest of their Numurin brethren on Cet'aenn and An'seidna due to the high level of Salzuir influence in that region. These Nemurin still follow their own version of the High Elven Patheon.....
