Category 5 Demons

The following is a list of all known category five demons
  • Leviathan: Leviathans are a type of serpent-like aquatic demon and are one of the most powerful demons in existence. Leviathans have human-like heads with razor sharp teeth as well as arms that move in extremely unnerving ways. Their arms have more joints than normal and can reach any direction. They are capable of launching attacks from afar and causing all sorts of flooding, hurricanes, and tsunamis. Leviathans are also extraordinarily large, and are about the size of a dragon, while also being significantly bulkier. They are more powerful than the monsters from the Rift of Atrocity and can swamp entire coasts with their power if they so choose. As the ultimate weapon of any devil's navy, they are the scourge of the seas and a terror to all coastlines. They would perhaps be the most powerful of all demons if not for their need to be in salt water and inability to survive on land. Leviathans also project an aura of fear which physically stops living creatures from approaching them in most cases.
  • Sepid: Sepid are essentially superpowered versions of category four's Devs. A Sepid is the leader of a Dev clan and they are imbued with extreme powers of sorcery as well as several innate abilities. Sepid are twenty feet tall, but can grow or shrink as they choose, allowing them to be flexible in combat. They also have powers over mortality and can age or de-age themselves at will. This power also extends to others they touch, and the effects are nigh-irreversible. They are also powerful henomancers, able to maipulate their own blood at will to make weapons, armor, and to shoot projectiles, bombs, and traps at their foes. Sepid are poweful mages, and supplement their powers with additional magic to make themselves stronger, faster, and capable of great and terrible feats. One common use of their powers is to fly, and then to release the magic and fall upon their victims with the power of a thunderbolt, hardening a shield of blood beneath their feet so they take no damage.
  • Kuceda: The Kuceda are a powerful race of snakelike demons with many heads. Their bodies are so large that it can be difficult to figure out where the Kuceda's vitals actually are. In fact, one of ther favorite tactics is to confuse and assault mutliple foes with different heads and to isolate them so that coordinated teams completely fall apart. Kuceda never stop growing, and the more heads, the older they are. They also keep growing in front of and behind the place where their heads split from so ancient Kuceda may have a massive set of coils for each head, allowing them to present a multiple facades of their body with little to no risk, since losing one head is of little concern to them. The Kuceda does have a main head, which they try to keep out of combat due to its importance. The loss of this head, while not fatal, will remove most of the Kuceda's magical powers and cognitive abilities until one of their other heads regrows into its new main head. In this situation, the Kuceda is significantly weakened and can then be effectively slain, as it is nearly impossible to do so otherwise. Kuceda heads can all breathe fire and their bites are toxic, adding to the danger of their huge size. They are mainly weather manipulators, capable of causing great devastation over wide areas with a variety of natural and supernatural weather events, ranging from droughts and hurricanes to acid rain and even firestorms. They can be used to seriously weaken a nation before its assault by devil-led forces, and are usually not active fighters.
  • Balor: The Balor are the most famous and active of the category five demons. Mighty fiends with horned heads, wings, and the power of controlling fire, they are nightmarish creatures that only the most powerful could hope to defeat. Although physically and magically the weakest of all category five demons, the Balor are completely without weakness, and their power over fire is absolute, which allows them to destroy without consequences. Balor are also, unlike other category five demons, completely unafraid of death, giving them a fervor in battle that few can match. Although many would seek to take a Balor into water in order to reduce its firey powers, this only marginally weakens the Balor, as it then becomes a slimy, slippery beast which uses its great strength to death roll its enemies. The Balor's battle rage, combined with its fierce strength, makes the feared across the lands, with their reputation preceding them. Balor are the generals of demonkind, leading their lesser brethren into battle in the absence of devils.
  • Mawromoar: Mawromoar are beastly demons with four mouths and nine stomachs whose hunger can never be sated. Mawromoar are complete monsters with no reason or tactics, only death, murder, and consumption. This is so absolute that Mawromoar will devour themselves in order to feed when no other meals are presented to them, which means they must be kept sedated except when brought to battle. Mawromoar, though unreliable, are killing machines which run on instinct, with insane reflexes and impossible strength. They are alos highly flexible, capable of turning ther entire bodies into goo and sliding through cracks only to emerge with skin as hard as steel and tear into and consume all on the other side in mere seconds. They swallow prey whole and in one gulp, which kills them instantly due to the toxicity of the Mawromoar. None can survive inside for more than an instant after the failure of any magical devices or shields, and nonmagical ones are completely worthless (since, again, the Mawromoar can slip through and gap, this extends to its innards). Mawormoars' mouths also seem to function as quasi-black holes, with those near them being drawn to the mouth despite their best efforts to run. It is unknown if this effect is conscious or unconscious by the Mawromoar, since it's not exactly possible to ask them. Mawromoar are completely black, with red and purple eyes of which there are a shifting and indepterminate amount. They have no arms or legs but move by controlling the visousity of their lower body.
