Bunyip

The Bunyip is a reptilian creature which lives in fresh water. It's known as an ambush predator that eats both people and animals. Bunyips have bodies similar to an alligator or crocodile, but are covered in large, armored plates instead of smaller scales. The Bunyip has several fins along its back, giving it a distinct water pattern when swimming. The face of a Bunyip is its most horrid part, as it appears similar to an insect's maw, but crafted from the features of a reptile. It has a flat snout with two large fangs on its top jaw, then a number of smaller teeth filling up the space between them and on the bottom jaw. The Bunyip has heavily lidded and armored eyes, while its weak spot is its belly, since it only rarely engages with creatures beneath it. Bunyips usually lurk in the shallows and wallow in mud to hide their presence. The Bunyip is found in the swamps and marshes of Ifyrial Ærellion, and Yyradayn.
